Building the political power of the LGBTQ community requires grassroots community organizing. There are several ways we engage in this grassroots work in Arizona.

Listening to LGBTQ Arizonans

During the fall of 2018 Equality Arizona will conduct listening sessions through out the state of Arizona and digitally to ask LGBTQ Arizonans what they need from a policy organization. We believe that the work of a statewide LGBTQ organization should be informed and led by the community. To learn more about these listening session sign up for our list.

Join the EQAZ team as a community organizer.

Know Your Rights

LGBTQ people do not have access to full citizenship. The more marginalized identities people occupy the less access they have to the right and privileges of full citizenship. It’s critical that as LGBTQ people we know what our rights are. Attend a workshop to learn more.
